Part-time Associate Director

The candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and developing academic programming for the Islamic Legal Studies Program: Law and Social Change. This includes lectures, panel discussions, and potentially larger events such as academic workshops or conferences. Will develop and maintain strong working relationships and manage collaborations with other organizations, centers, and academic programs within the Law School and University that work on related issues, and will represent the Program externally, such as at events and in engagement with potential donors. Guide students connected to the Program, including those applying for grants from the Program, help recruit Visiting Fellows, and ensure the Visiting Fellows program is managed in a manner that maximizes the benefit to the Fellows as well as the Program. Must have JD degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of related experience, including work in a field of Islamic law related to the Program's mission. Fluency in English and Arabic strongly preferred.
