Technology Licensing Officer
The candidate will support the management of the University’s confidential patent portfolio. Will track patent prosecution matters on a case by case basis. Research, compile, organize and present information to licensing officers relevant to the patent portfolio. Report patent prosecution matters and billings to appropriate individuals within the department. Develop Standard Operating Procedures for coordinating patent prosecution and legal review of the portfolio. Establish and maintain electronic files for patent applications and issued patents and technologies. Interact with legal representatives regarding TCO patent prosecution, procedures and billing matters. Review invoices for consistency and accuracy in conjunction with licensing officer. Create summary detail reports to track invoices and follow individual fiscal activity by law firm or attorney.
