The candidate will serve as the head of data privacy and the company’s Data Protection Officer. Ensure the company is compliant with US and international privacy laws and regulations, including the CCPA and GDPR. Advise and support product and engineering teams with respect to privacy issues. Develop and maintain a set of internal policies, programs and resources with respect to privacy. Remain knowledgeable on relevant industry laws and regulations. Review and manage data subject requests. Review, draft and comment on data protection agreements.
