The role involves direct representation in immigration courts and administrative proceedings, managing a broad spectrum of immigration matters, and crafting persuasive legal strategies. Duties:

• Deliver legal advocacy in removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, and related proceedings

• Represent clients before Immigration Courts and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

• Prepare case filings, including petitions, briefs, and other supporting documents

• Conduct initial and ongoing client consultations to develop tailored case strategies

• Keep abreast of legal and procedural developments in U.S. immigration law

• Appear in court and administrative hearings, respond effectively to judicial inquiries, and engage with opposing parties as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in immigration litigation or removal defense

• Proven ability to present cases in adversarial settings, including immigration courts

• Demonstrated skill in legal analysis and persuasive writing

• Excellent interpersonal and oral advocacy skills

• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and contributing to a positive work environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Admission to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications:

• Bar membership in good standing (any state)

Skills:

• Litigation strategy and execution

• Legal drafting and research

• Oral argument and courtroom presence

• Immigration law expertise, especially removal defense

• Client counseling and relationship management
