Paralegal

The candidate work with a dynamic group of attorneys and staff and be responsible for a variety of projects, including to, compiling information, preparing, drafting and reviewing contracts, communicating and working with legal, management, administrative and scientific personnel and others as needed, both internally within the company and externally with outside parties. Support the legal department with a variety of projects, including drafting and reviewing agreements and related documents, supporting technology transfer and licensing activities, reviewing and assessing business and research opportunities. Handle a variety of contracts and documents including intellectual property related agreements, licensing, confidentiality, material transfer, research and development, consulting, lease, collaborative and technology transfer agreements and other agreements and statements of work. Work with legal, scientific, administrative, management and other personnel at company and external parties, including outside counsel, to fulfill duties. Gather, assess, review and summarize information for various agreements and projects and attend meetings as needed. Assess incoming contract requests for completeness, as well as review, draft, and support negotiation of contracts while interacting with internal teams and external counsel or parties. Advise business and management on legal matters and related ventures and business strategies. Such other activities as the legal department may request.
