Litigation Associate

The candidate' must have a minimum of two years of civil litigation experience. Should have experience working on insurance defense matters, and will have the ability to handle civil litigation matters from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, conducting and defending depositions, analyzing risk transfer opportunities, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing. Experience litigating in New York State Court and knowledge of the rules of practice in New York State Court is required. Experience reviewing real estate contracts or leases is preferred, but not required. Candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, have excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills, and be able to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner. NY Bar admission is required.
