Financial Operations Business Transformation Consultant for Education and State/Local Govt LTS

Profile

The Consultant will be responsible for providing business transformation consulting services in financial and risk management for higher education, K-12 education, state government, and local government clients. Consulting services may include, for example, business process optimization, systems requirements development, ERP and other systems implementation support, financial and risk management advisory services, and project/program management. While this will be the primary responsibility, the Consultant will also assist in the growth of IBM's financial and risk management footprint in the target industries, by contributing to proposals, providing industry-related subject matter expertise, participating in business development activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Provide direct on-site and remote consulting service to IBM GBS clients,
-Support clients in analyzing and assessing financial and risk management information technology portfolios,
-Assist in implementing and analyzing impacts of financial and risk management information technology programmatic changes. Work with clients to develop system requirements and conduct software fit-gap analyses,
-Provide business process optimization services to clients,Facilitate client information gathering sessions, conduct research, make presentations, and document findings and analyses, Contribute to proposals and other business development activities, and/or Provide task leadership for internal and client initiatives, with accountability for team management and task results.

* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 1 year experience in Financial Management.
* Basic knowledge in contract or proposal development.
* At least 1 year experience in Education or State/Local Government Industry.
* Basic knowledge in direct customer or client service.
* Basic knowledge in supervision of personnel.
* Basic knowledge in coaching/mentoring.
* At least 1 year experience in group facilitation and/or public speaking.
* Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
* U.S. citizenship required
* English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
* At least 5 years experience in Financial Management.
* At least 4 years experience in Project Management.
* At least 2 years experience in contract or proposal development.
* At least 5 years experience in Education or State/Local Government Industry.
* At least 1 year experience in direct customer or client service.
* At least 4 years experience in team leadership.
* At least 2 years experience in supervision of personnel.
* At least 2 years experience in coaching/mentoring.
* At least 5 years experience in demonstrated strength in oral and written communication.
* At least 4 years experience in group facilitation and/or public speaking.
* English : Intermediate
