Corporate Counsel - Network Transactions
The candidate will think like the “Uncarrier” in the context of all that you do for T-Mobile, with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach to all matters. Serve as a trusted advisor for the Network procurement and engineering organizations. Provide day-to-day legal advice, analysis, interpretation, and drafting to support a variety of network transaction-based projects from contract creation, through implementation, and as applicable, dispute resolution. Effectively and efficiently work with other in-house subject matter experts, legal teams, and outside legal counsel to advise leadership and solve problems. Should have 3+ years of experience as a business attorney, preferably in-house and/or in a law firm, ideally working on commercial or regulatory aspects of wireless communications networks and technology transactions. Experience working with procurement, supply chain, and/or other non-legal contract management organizations, preferably in communications or another regulated industry. Client-oriented with a high comfort level working with demanding clients. Quick learner with flexibility to take on matters in new areas. Technical acumen, creative problem solver and results oriented. Excellent business judgment, and a proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities. Experience handling a high volume or high complexity of work with the ability to prioritize, work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required. Legally authorized to work in the US. Excellent organizational, analytical, drafting, negotiation, research and written/oral communication skills with a strong record of effective cross-group collaboration. Ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment. Ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks, think strategically and advance creative, practical solutions in the face of ambiguity and imperfect information. Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
