Job Summary

Reporting into the Director of Partnership Supply, the Partnership Supply Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective supply and developing/executing commercialization strategies in conjunction with Amgen Partners.

Additionally, he/she will be expected to drive effective working relationships with Partner organizations, Product Delivery Teams (PDTs), other Global Supply Chain functions, as well as other Operations and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point-of-contact for one or more Operations alliances (partnerships)

Lead cross-functional teams within Amgen and Partner organizations in support of collaboration activities, such as clinical and commercial supply, CMC regulatory submissions, product launches, manufacturing transitions, tech transfers, out-licensing obligations, CMC scientific/technical data exchange, etc.

Guide partners through Amgen's processes and organization

Engage in business development deal negotiations and integration as needed

Provide functional input into licensing, supply, and quality agreements as well as financial model/deal construct

Ensure contractual obligations are met

Identify opportunities to increase strategic value of partnerships and advocate continuous improvement within the collaboration

Contribute to the Partnership Supply functional strategy, including the implementation of best practices for managing collaborations and execution of specific projects to drive organizational maturity

Anticipate 10-20% domestic and international travel.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree and 2 years of Biopharmaceutical Operations experience OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Biopharmaceutical Operations experience OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Biopharmaceutical Operations experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Biopharmaceutical Operations experience

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Experience in regulated manufacturing or supply chain setting

Experience with demand/supply management, including forecast/planning cycles and order-to-cash processes

Robust understanding of Operations functions and site operations

Working knowledge of Amgen product commercialization and lifecycle management framework

Independently manage day-to-day operations within the partnership and execute in a high performing environment with minimal supervision

Demonstrated experience in ERP environments (e.g., SAP)

Demonstrated ability to effectively engage diverse, global stakeholder groups and manage projects with multiple, cross-functional deliverables

Strong project management skills with past success in building high-performing teams and influencing others to drive results

Anticipate complex problems and integrate data/information from multiple sources to develop value-added solutions

Proactively communicate with senior management and team members regarding issues, risks and project/action plans

Drive effective decision-making and issue resolution by balancing perspectives of internal/external stakeholders

Experience with third-party relationships and working cross-culturally

Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills

Self-motivated, high personal integrity, adaptable, and takes initiative

Ability to confidently navigate the unknown
