Description

The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, andworks under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

We are looking for an experienced Telecom SBC Engineer - with experience with Oracle SBC's.' Specifically someone with hands on implementation experience with Oracle SBC's and Oracle Communications Operations Monitor.

This would be someone who worked for Oracle or another large enterprise or Carrier - AT&T, Verizon, etc.

We have had success in listing our positions on Indeed - with the ability to search for location as 'remote' -- maybe remote in title as well? That has seemed to work well in the past for us.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects

2 or more years of project leadership experience

5 years working with SIP Transport and SBC

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
