Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation, focusing on patent disputes.
• Draft, file, and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on patent law and other intellectual property issues.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
• Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests.
• Prepare for and represent clients in trial proceedings, including direct and cross-examination of witnesses.
• Work closely with technical experts and advisors to develop expert reports and support litigation efforts.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in intellectual property law, particularly patent law, to provide strategic advice to clients.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and strategies.
• Balance multiple cases and projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and work quality remains high.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, with a strong focus on patent litigation.
• Experience as a federal judicial law clerk is highly preferred.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Admission to the Colorado Bar or eligibility for admission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.
