University Attorney and Secretary to the Board
The Candidate will be responsible to provides legal advice to university clients on a variety of legal matters including contracts, employment, tenure, discrimination and harassment, student affairs matters, and data privacy and security. Manages responses to subpoenas and other document production requests. Drafts and reviews contracts and legal documents. Reviews and provides advice on university policies and procedures. Promotes good governance by maintaining board documents, including: bylaws and committee charters, policies, resolutions, and meeting minutes. Works with administration and board committee chairs to plan and organize board and committee meetings. Oversees meeting logistics. Facilitates trustee orientation and training.
