JOB SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for successful completion
of moves, furniture installation and reconfigurations, and small renovation
projects.

Relocations
Plans, schedules, and manages relocation projects. Moves can vary from
small (25-30 people) to large (150 ) in scale.
Many projects support the project management group.
Develops move schedule and assures that move services are delivered in a
timely and professional manner
Manages all activities of the relocation, including pre-move planning,
move implementation, and post-move activities. This includes scheduling of
freight elevators, loading docks, movers, furniture installers, CAD updates, carpenters,
cleaners, corporate artwork moves, mail zone changes, tel-data, wire management
and electrical.
Maintains a 4.5 Survey or above per KPI
Prepares for and conducts relocation meeting(s) with the project team
and business partners as necessary.
Take
and distribute meeting minutes as appropriate.
Communicate regularly with client to keep them informed of project
progress
Works with Workstyle Innovations Team (WIT) and Regional Occupancy
Planning group in the development of programming information and relocation
documents.
Develop and maintain a focused set of relationships across assigned
business partners in order to increase business unit knowledge
Responsible for relocation budget and related reporting activities,
including RFPs, PO generation, invoice payment and project close out.
Be a resource for the Project Coordinator when determining whether or
not to approve a move, as needed
Responsible for monthly billing audits and eSpace accuracy
Maintains 90% accuracy or above per KPI
Seeks methods to enhance the relocation process.
Resolves any conflict and escalates relevant issues to WIT/Planning as
appropriate.
Furniture
reconfigurations and new floor build outs and
decommissioning
Manages the planning, installation and scheduling of all new furniture
build outs and furniture reconfigurations with project team members.
Manages the removal (decommission) of furniture on a floor including
product knock down, product inventory, scheduling return product to scrapping
company or to furniture warehouse.
Participates as a team member in project meetings.
Responsible for project budget related to furniture activities,
including RFPs, PO generation, approval of invoices and project close out.
Responsible for the coordination with the client furniture warehouse for
all in bound and out bound furniture requirements and furniture deliveries
direct to site.
Procures all furniture and installation services for related projects.
Develop and maintain a focused set of relationships with furniture vendors
in order to procure quotes/information in a timely fashion and also increase furniture
knowledge.
Work directly with vendors on quality control and delivery of consistent
products
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
