Our firm is looking for a JD to work with attorneys, other conflicts department staff and the General Counsel, to identify, evaluate, and resolve ethical conflict and business conflict issues. This attorney will be responsible for reviewing conflict reports, drafting engagement letters, conflict waiver letters and ethical wall memoranda. Other duties include:
Performing legal research and analysis projects relating to conflicts or other aspects of ethics and/or professional responsibility as requested by the General Counsel
Preparing and providing consultations and training programs for attorneys and staff on topics relevant to conflicts
Serve as the primary contact for conflicts checks relating to lateral attorneys hires
Completing special projects on various issues as requested by the Office of the General Counsel
This Conflicts Attorney will oversee the Conflicts Department staff members and will report directly to our General Counsel.
