The candidate will be responsible for helping our firm serve clients, prepare legal documents, and build and maintain effective communication with the firm’s clients and others. Working with an awesome team. Interacting with clients and building relationships with them. Interacting with courts and administrative agencies regarding filings, hearings, motions, and other appearances. Scheduling internal case timelines to ensure that progress is being made. Researching laws and judicial decisions, about current as well as past cases. Drafting pleadings, motions, orders, client correspondence, and discovery. Responding to discovery requests. Should be able to communicate effectively and clearly, draft legal documents with high attention to detail, and be energized by getting results. Should be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.Attorney licensed to practice in Georgia; 3 or more years of experience in probate litigation, including experience with preparing discovery, responding to discovery, writing motions and briefs, and appearing in court; strong attention to detail; a self-starter, who looks for the next way to help move toward the goal; excellent writing skills; excellent customer service skills; positive outlook and a desire to help clients; ability to keep track of and meet deadlines; ability to prioritize; ability to keep accurate and complete time records.
