The Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) team is on a mission to accelerate customers’ cloud journey through simplified multi cloud governance. You will play a key part in shaping the next gen NCM platform with a focus on Intelligent operations (AIOPS) and Insights product areas.
Responsibilities
Lead technical direction, architecture and design of major product areas for Intelligent operations (AIOPS), Insights and the NCM platform
Architect, design and develop scalable, cloud native distributed systems
Engage in design/code reviews, define development & test best practices and mentor junior engineers
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and build innovative solutions that cater to it
Collaborate with architects, tech leads, engineering leadership, product managers and drive clarity on goals & outcomes
Work in a geographically distributed team setup
What will you bring?
12 years of relevant industry experience in designing, building distributed systems; incl. launching, scaling & evolving them in a production environment
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong programming skills in GoLang, Python, C or Java
Strong hands-on expertise with one or more distributed system technologies such as
Messaging/Eventing: NATS, Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ
SQL and No-SQL DBs: Postgres, Cassandra, Redis, Time Series DBs, Graph DBs
Strong experience with micro services, data processing frameworks and handling data at scale
Prior experience with AI based observability products is highly desirable
Mindset to think big, start small and make it happen
