The  Assistant Manager, Data Integrity

 is a subject matter expert (SME) in the business’ use of data, responsible for improving and maintaining the integrity of the data assets to achieve, monitor and maintain levels of data integrity which foster trust in the data. A natural change advocate, this role will assist in establishing service level agreements (SLA’s) and reporting to show the overall health and status of work and data processing activities associated with the team, while seeking out, embracing, and implementing new solutions to drive value. They also manage and prioritize an active book of Daily Production, Active Change Control and New Client/Data Integration work for the team. 

The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the team of Data Integrity Specialists who establish, review, manage and support member eligibility information, healthcare provider data.  Work will focus on the daily operations of the data integrity specialist team, ensuring that all data security governance regarding our members and providers personal information is always safeguarded. 

What you’ll do

Provide daily leadership to the team including adherence to best practices; leading team through change with new technologies and tools; support positive team morale; mentoring/career development including performance management.

Assist manager with capacity planning & reporting to show relationship between active book of work, backlog and current staffing levels.

Assist in developing and delivering work status reports across production, change control and new development environments, including volume, trending, SLA management, latency etc. 

Ensures team executes in alignment with department objectives.

Actively manage request intake process and segmentation, prioritization and assignment of the book of work in an agile framework.

Create and maintain team training activities and documentation.

Provide process and productivity analysis and the identification of opportunities / automation to drive continuous improvements and optimization of current processes.

Perform Provider Services and Eligibility functional accountabilities.

All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field preferred

Experience: 3 years related experience working in IT Business Analysis, Business Analytics, Process Improvement, or related analytical fields required.

Experience working with medical or consumer data preferred.

2 years direct people leadership experience with a proven ability to think strategically and lead tactical implementations.

Experience working in an Agile environment preferred (Sprint assignments, Timelines, Prioritization, Capacity Planning etc.).

Experience in assisting and performing process reviews, documenting existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness through automation or process improvements.

Confident in challenging the status-quo to drive business insights and continuous improvement, this role will be data and results oriented, have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and influence decisions.

Ability to apply knowledge of organizational principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities. Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to data management, project management, and change management processes.
