Counsel, Marketing and Technology Contracts
The candidate will negotiate and draft marketing and advertising agreements, such as marketing event agreements, sweepstakes, advertising agency agreements, talent agreements, sponsorships, influencer agreements, endorsements, promotions, trademark agreements, and licensing agreements. Negotiate and draft digital marketing, adtech, and social media agreements. Contribute to a variety of technology contracts such as SaaS, Cloud, Software, and consulting agreements. Develop efficient contracting processes, including templates, playbooks, and training materials. Advise business regarding legal and regulatory changes. Advise senior executives to influence decision-making. Advise on marketing and advertising law. Should have a J.D. from a top law school with exceptional academic credentials and 5-7 years of relevant experience gained at a leading law firm and/or in-house. Must be admitted, active, and in good standing in at least one U.S. state. Requires a practical, business-oriented approach to a problem-solving; candidate must be able to effectively counsel internal clients by providing them with clear, concise, and pragmatic advice, and creative solutions where necessary, on established timelines to meet their business needs. Must be able to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and works collaboratively with other members of the Legal Department and with internal clients.
