Job Details:
Position reports to: Supv Feed Mill
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm the work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.
Requirements:
Candidates must reside within one of the following counties in order to be considered: in Arkansas- Benton, Madison, or Washington; in Oklahoma- Adair, Cherokee, or Delaware
Candidates with agricultural or production experience are considered preferred
Starting Wage: $16.45

Summary:
This position is responsible for stocking all micro bins for finished feed and all record keeping in correspondence with standard mill procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Must be able to read, write, and have simple math skills. Must have good oral and written communication skills; legible handwriting is a must. Basic computer skills for operating the TMCS.
Must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fill finished feed and micro bins for inventories. (80%)
Monitor all batch reports and production records and batching, pelleting equipment. (10%)
Respirator certification is required and maintained by testing on an annual basis. Must be able to achieve and maintain a respirator certification.
Other duties, Responsibilities, and Activities:
May change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as coordinating with the supervisor and/or the drivers regarding all feed production planning, loading formulas into the Tyson Mill Control System (TMCS) computer system, cleaning of assigned areas, following all blowdown permits, and recovering the required feed samples. (10%)
Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:
Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the job site except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the company biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Excessive lifting, up to 60 pounds while dumping ingredients. Excessive bending of up to 100 times a day. Will occasionally be required to ascend/descend a caged ladder 197 feet high. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust.
Personal Protective Equipment Required: safety goggles, face shields, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required. Hearing protection will be used as needed. NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators will be worn as needed. Hard hats, reflective vests, safety glasses and safety Shoes will be worn as needed.
Chemicals Commonly Used: Herbicides, Pesticides, and Disinfectants.
Safety: TM is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment. TM is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety-related risks.
During the current Pandemic (2020), all Team Members will be required to wear company issued facial coverings. Training will be provided to each Team Member specific to their job and their facility location in addition to signing an acknowledgement form they understand these expectations.
It is considered an essential function of each job for a Team Member to wear the company issued facial coverings. If a Team Member indicates they will not wear the mask, they will not be considered for the position in which they are applying or any position that requires the facial covering. If a Team Member has a medical condition or disability that prevents them from wearing the mask, Cobb will engage in an interactive process to determine whether a reasonable accommodation can be provided that addresses the safety concerns associated with the Pandemic and allow the Team Member to perform the essential functions of the job.
