We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ERD & Disbursements Supervisor within the Global Shared Services organization. The ERD\/Disbursements Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the NALAN regions for both ERD and Disbursements activities and all associated quality of services delivered. The supervisor role will be instrumental in driving compliance with all Monsanto policies and procedures. In this position you will be responsible for supervising a team of 4 direct reports as well as contractor staff as needed. The ERD\/Disbursements Supervisor will partner with our Bangalore Shared Services team members, Procurement, Treasury, IT and other business partners to support and drive process improvements while delivering operational excellence within our Global Shared Services Organization. Qualifications Primary Responsibilities: Lead, manage and deliver DPR requirements and processes to all direct reports Ensure compliance with all SOX, FCPA, FATCA\/IRS and internal policy requirements Lead and manage the Escheatment process and compliance with all unclaimed property laws Lead and manage the accuracy and timeliness of 1099 reporting and associated IRS filings Responsible for timely delivery and adherence to all service level agreements Oversee the ongoing maintenance of vendor\/material master data in the Global Vendor Management and SAP systems for North America (US, Canada) and various Latin America countries across all business units Manage timely payment processing for NA and Puerto Rico ($10B annually) -payment methods include checks, EFTs, wire transfers, virtual card payments and foreign drafts Ensure all inbound and outbound EDI feeds are monitored and maintained between SAP and bank Lead and influence change as it relates to compliance with new policies, system changes\/requirements Provide direction on all processes related to ERD & Disbursements to continuously improve processes, documentation and training Influence change and collaborate with Procurement and cross functional business partners to drive front end compliance Present to leadership proposed recommendations, process changes, policy changes etc. Lead and influence the business to adhere to global standard processes Manage SAP security role approvals and SOD risks Responsible for working with IT to maintain and ensure uninterrupted system functionality during all system enhancements, upgrades and cutovers Implement and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place for business continuity purposes in the event of unforeseen circumstances Assist the team when issues are escalated and require resolution with ability to create and implement alternate solutions Review and approve account reconciliations\/Perform vendor statement reviews Ensure key metrics and objectives are maintained and aligned with expectations and utilized to drive improvements Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal\/external customers and global business partners Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and advocate for adoption of global standard processes Tracking issues and concerns through to resolution with quick response time to customer Act as a point of contact for escalation of process and people related matters, audit and vendor related concerns Manage and ensure successful completion of Global AP Balance Sheet Review Lead all SOX, internal\/external audits related to ERD and Disbursements processes Perform ad-hoc reporting and assist with projects\/customer requests as required Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business related field (Accounting\/Finance) 8 years of relevant experience Prior people management experience with setting goals, providing clear direction, provides support, people development, mid year and annual reviews as well as overall career development Significant tax experience related to 1099 and 1042 processing\/IRS fillings Ability to act as owner for areas of responsibility Ability to identify and implement process improvements Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills Strong ability to multi-task Analytical\/Problem solving skills Ability to adapt quickly to change \u2013Implementations, system changes, etc. Willingness to work in ambiguous situations and offer feasible solutions Strong ability to act as a team player SAP Experience Preferred Qualifications: SAP Payables Experience\/Knowledge Readsoft knowledge International work experience Job Finance\/Accounting
