Legal Administrative Assistant – Venture Capital
The candidate will be responsible for a broad variety of administrative tasks, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports and budgeting; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas; compiling documents for travel-related meetings; event planning and coordination; assisting attorneys with business development and new business intake tasks. Should preferably have 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or similar setting. Previous experience supporting Executive level preferred. Must have strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with meticulous attention to detail. Should have very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with management and staff. Must have expert-level written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated active approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability are required. Must be a highly resourceful team player with the ability to be extremely effective independently. Should have proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response. Must have demonstrated the ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
