Description

The Senior Cloud Architect would be part of the Test Data Management team. This team is responsible for ensuring highly compliant and reliable test data to all testers across the enterprise. The Test Data Management team works closely with every IT Team and has insight into the data used in every application.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments on Test Data Management. Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings related to cyber security. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, prototype, and select technologies and systems architectures to meet government compliance, support growth initiatives and ongoing system modernization for protecting data in the Cloud.

Be accountable for delivering technical outcomes, collaborating across engineering, product teams, and domains to see how our existing platform capabilities can be enhanced to deliver more value to application teams related to Test Data.

Partner with Data Governance and Enterprise Information Protection Engineering to facilitate the test data cloud strategy

Research new technologies, processes, and solutions to enhance data protection capabilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

5 or more years of software development and/or architecture

1-3 years of hands on cloud experience in one or more of the following platforms; Azure, GCP, AWS, Oracle

Rich experience in large-scale data processing, distributed system performance tuning, multi-thread programming, and cloud-based systems.

Exceptional analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills; management by numbers with demonstrable abilities in data-driven decision-making. Prior experience developing conceptual and logical architectures

Solid understanding of security protocols, authentication, authorization and security

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Knowledge in Test Data Management Strategies

Experience in Informatica - IICS : Cloud Data Integration Services
