Duties
- Negotiate and draft construction and design agreements tailored to the needs of each project.
- Review and prepare industry-standard forms for construction and design, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Advise clients on matters related to real estate development and large-scale industrial capital projects.
- Support public procurement processes by managing documentation and providing relevant counsel.
- Resolve construction claims effectively, prioritizing clients' best interests.
- Collaborate with peers and clients to foster strong, lasting professional relationships.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience with transactional law, specifically in construction and design agreements.
- Exposure to real estate development, public procurement, or construction claims resolution is preferred.
- Strong academic background demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
- Proven experience in building strong client relationships.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission upon hiring.
