POSITION SUMMARY:
The Social Health Services Division encompasses a set of programs that address the social determinants of health. Food security, housing/shelter, education, employment, mental health and substance use all play a role in the quality of an individual’s health and well-being. The Division Contract Manager plays a vital role in contractual and fiscal management.
· Monitor the environment for grant opportunities offered by the State, federal government, foundations, and private donors.
· Complete grant applications, ensuring adherence to the guidelines spelled out in the request for proposal, including attachment of all required documents, and submit proposals on time.
· Complete all mandated reporting, ensuring that all required documentation is included and that reports are submitted on time.
· Serve as the lead contact for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), (i.e., Clarity), participating in all trainings mandated by the RI Coalition to End Homelessness. Support all CCA staff who use HMIS to ensure that they are adequately trained.
· Support the Vice President and Deputy in completing all tasks associated with funding sources for each program
· Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
· Assist with CCA’s distribution of holiday baskets.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in human services field, public health management, and/or finances. Must be highly competent in communicating, both verbally and in writing.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office-based.
