Duties:

• Case Management: Oversee a variety of personal injury cases from inception to resolution, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients.
• Litigation: Take a lead role in all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Client Advocacy: Maintain strong client relationships by providing consistent updates and advocating for their best interests.
• Court Appearances: Represent clients at court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations, displaying professionalism and expertise.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to advance cases promptly.
• Settlement Negotiations: Negotiate settlements strategically to secure the highest possible recovery for clients while minimizing litigation costs.
• Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with Texas BAR requirements and maintain high ethical standards in all aspects of the practice.

Requirements:

• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• License: Active license to practice law in Texas with a clean BAR record.
• Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Proven trial experience with the ability to independently manage complex, high-stakes cases.
• Skills:
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in case management software.
