Senior Associate- National Tax Group
Responsibilities: Advise clients on federal income tax issues related to domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and internal restructurings. Focus on corporate, pass-through (partnership and S-corporations), and international provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. Research and analyze miscellaneous federal income tax issues as they come up, including issues related to cannabis, cancellation of debt income, PFICs, penalties, timing and accounting methods, and others. Draft emails and memoranda. Attend client meetings and pitch meetings. Assist with various training programs and thought leadership (internal and external).
