How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Our warehouse associate will handle the shipping and receiving of internal and external customer’s cylinders and hard good products from vendors. You will track private cylinders to assure the accuracy of fills and returns, and handle all cylinder needs in a manner that serves the best interest of both the customer and Airgas. You will also pull orders from inventory for delivery, maintain proper inventory items on hand, and make customer deliveries as needed.
In particular, you will:
Physically unload cylinders from route and transfer trucks while also inspecting all product for quality and safety adherence. Notify manager immediately with any safety defects or concerns with cylinders or other products.
Maintain SAP system with shipping and receiving of all hard goods and cylinders. Reconcile any discrepancies with inventory items on hand. Communicate any discrepancies with the branch manager.Stocks shelves with hard goods received.
Maintain organization and good housekeeping of warehouse for the branch.
May be requested to make deliveries in the absence of delivery driver while following all DOT and Airgas policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe driving record and appropriate driver’s license classification while operating company vehicles and equipment. Operate a Forklift in a safe manner
Are you a MATCH?
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One year experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Strong computer skills using SAP, MS Office and Google products preferred.
Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain appropriate forklift certifications.
CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements and clean and safe driving record required.
Must be able to work in a drug free environment.
