Job Overview: A law firm in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a proactive and experienced Litigation Family Law Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing family law cases, providing exceptional customer service to clients, and making improvement recommendations to practice managers. This role requires a Juris Doctorate, Bar Exam passage on the first attempt, 3-5 years of litigation experience, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technical programs and software.

Duties:

• Proactively manage family law cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring efficient and effective legal representation.
• Provide superior customer service by delivering monthly status reports and conducting weekly reviews of cases with clients to address their concerns and questions.
• Make recommendations to practice managers for process improvements and enhancements in family law practice.
• Monitor and manage performance metrics using practice quality software to track accomplishments and client satisfaction and make data-driven improvements.
• Serve as the 1st chair in family law cases, demonstrating expertise and leadership in the courtroom.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards in the practice of family law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
• Successful passage of the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on family law cases.
• Licensing to practice law in the state of New Mexico.
• Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical programs and software.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico.
