Contract Administration Director, Motion Picture Legal
The candidate will draft, negotiate and process a high volume of merchandising licensing agreements and related agreements, correspondence, and other documentation. Track the status of the agreements and all related matters. Research and analyze legal issues, including rights analysis, content clearance, and labor. Manage antipiracy efforts, including trademark protection, enforcement, and cease and desists. General problem-solving on a daily basis. Should have 8+ years of contract administrator and/or paralegal experience in a top law firm and/or in a studio/in-house entertainment legal affairs group. Excellent drafting skills along with superb judgment, prioritization and communication skills while interfacing with all levels of the company. Experience in consumer products licensing is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree and paralegal certification preferredAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities.
