SUMMARY

Eagle Eye, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC), is currently seeking a Compliance Coordinator. The Compliance Coordinator will work from our Colorado Springs office and will report to the Senior Project Coordinator. Functions include requesting, tracking, processing, and reconciling WH-347 and related contractual compliance reports from subcontractors in multiple states and in a multi-company environment. Tasks are generally routine and require little deviation from established procedures. The Compliance Coordinator will also be responsible for periodic audits of contractual compliance related documents in respect to subcontractor documentation and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are

intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

Confirm project specific wage decisions are utilized by subcontractors, vendors, and other required reporting entities.

Request, collect, process, reconcile and submit WH-347, DB compliance reports and/or contract compliance deliverables from subcontractors, vendors, and other required reporting entities to proper government contract administrator. 

This position is responsible for full DB compliance of multi-state and multi-project subcontractors including auditing and processing incoming data and reports for full compliance and accuracy. 

Review and cross reference subcontractor project sign in sheets for accurate recording.

Responsible for performing internal auditing processes to verify accuracy of submitted WH-347, DB compliance reports, and other contract compliance deliverables.

Responsible for reporting inaccuracies in submitted documentation and coordinating the required corrections directly with subcontractors, vendors and other required reporting entities. 

Responsible for organizing and coordinating the retention of submitted documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and DB standards.

Maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.

Other related duties as required and assigned by the Senior Project Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

At least one (1) year of government/federal compliance work experience or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Working knowledge of how WH-347 and/or DB compliance reports are prepared.

Working knowledge of the current Davis Bacon Labor Standards.

High attention to detail.

Ability to meet daily & weekly deadlines.

Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Dependable and punctual.

Must be able to operate office machines, including, but not limited to a computer, copier, fax, as well as make arithmetic calculations.

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.

Managing one's own time and coordinating time with others.

The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing clearly and concisely.

Ability to use computers and/or computer system software to enter data or process information.

Preferred

Previous experience processing WH-347 and/or DB compliance reports in a multi-company/multi-project environment and/or tracking contractual compliance deliverables.

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity.
