Experienced Legal Secretary / Paralegal
Looking for employee for small law firm – flexible hours.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary, strong knowledge of both federal and state court rules and calendaring experience (state and federal e-filing experience is required).
Should have a strong attention to detail, are able to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to recognize potential conflicts and prioritize accordingly. Must have an extensive organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills. Familiarity with clerical responsibilities and administrative aspects of the legal field are important.
The candidate will include: meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, assisting with discovery, completing judicial counsel forms. Organize, index and file legal and administrative documents and maintain databases, firm calendars, administrative files and other records.
