Description
The Senior IT Disaster Recovery Professional will primarily support, coordinate and transform ITDR in accordance across ingested Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and the corresponding criticality matrix that drives more restrictive recovery objectives across all applications. Leveraging BIA data, review/analyze and assign recovery tiers--the candidate will collaboratively work with infrastructure, application and business partners to drive to cost estimation, validation and approval. Then follow through with turnover to team members to coordinate build and validation efforts required.
The Senior IT Disaster Recovery Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior IT Disaster Recovery Professional will work routinely with leaders and stakeholders across technology and business operations, operational risk and business continuity teams to improve program capabilities & quality across business impact, risk/threat data, and other related recovery opportunities to enhance program understanding, visibility, and routine engagement.
The Senior IT DR Professional performs project planning, resource coordination, reporting of deliverables for status tracking, and influences department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding approach for project components. Work is to be performed with minimal direction.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Successful candidate should have a solid background in areas of response planning, impact/risk assessments, DR related communications, governance, recovery plans, testing/validation and project management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 5 years of disaster recovery and/or business continuity planning experience;
Extensive experience business impact analysis, recovery strategic planning, communications and reporting to ensure capabilities and expectations are adequately managed, data analysis and metric development; and
Strong communications/presentation and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry accreditation through DRI, BCI or other internationally recognized organization
Working knowledge of ISO-22301, industry accreditation (DRI or BCI)
Archer experience or other recovery tool a plus
Additional Information
Positions is preferred to be located in Louisville, remote working options available for highly qualified candidates.
