Director of CompensationApply now iDate:iNov 21, 2022Location:iCarthage, MO, USCompany:iLeggett and PlattWe, at Leggett and Platt Inc., are searching for a(n) Director of Compensation within our Corporate HRiteam to help support our Corporate business.i As a global-diversified manufacturing company, itis sometimes hard to explain all the different things we do.i We like to say, iweire the biggest company no one has ever heard of.ii We are confident you interact with one of our products in your daily life without knowing it.i Whether itis the mattress you sleep on, the car you drive, the plane you fly on, or the furniture you sit on, our high-quality components are there supporting you.i If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.iAs the Director of Compensation, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing and transformational team.i This position will partner with HR and business leaders to ensure our total rewards programs are incorporating the newest ideas, technologies, and approaches to attracting, retaining, and rewarding our employees.So, what will you be doing as a Director of Compensation?Lead compensation consulting services to support the design, development, and implementation of Leggettis compensation processes and programsPartner with HR and business leaders to design and deliver compensation programs and initiatives across the company globallyWork closely with the compensation team to ensure the global compensation philosophy is consistently applied and executed across the companyLead market research efforts and annual reviews of the compensation framework, including evaluating and benchmarking jobs, providing recommendations for compensation and incentive programs, and reviewing overall market competitivenessPartner with HR to ensure consistent, competitive, and equitable compensation practices are maintained throughout business units and regionsWork closely with other subject matter experts on global projects related to compensation and HR initiatives, including process improvement opportunities in supporting Leggettis HR and business strategyLead communication and change management initiatives related to total reward programsSupport HR technology implementations related to compensation programsManage employee development by setting and evaluating goals, providing feedback, and employing techniques to enable employees to realize their potentialiTo be successful in this role, youill need:Bacheloris degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field of studyMinimum 10 years compensation or related experience, preferably in a medium to large global company5 years of management experienceProactive/self-driven with confidence in working with senior leaders and cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and leadership skillsKnowledge of other HR disciplinesExperience working with a Human Capital Management System (HCMS); SAP preferredWhat to Do NextNow that youive had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
