Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate

The candidate should have 4-5 years of legal practice experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel focused on data privacy and cybersecurity. Candidates with significant complex commercial litigation experience focused on technology also will be considered. Must be well-versed in emerging domestic and international data privacy regulations, especially as related to technology companies and advanced mobility. Current or pending CIPP or other relevant privacy certification preferred. Must possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding client service skills. Admission to the Michigan bar is preferred, but not required, as candidates admitted to practice in other jurisdictions will also be considered.
