Paralegal – Franchising
The candidate will responsible for coordinating and preparing legal documents related to franchising, including providing disclosure documents to prospective franchisees, processing franchise agreements and related legal agreements, maintaining legal files and other activities. Coordinates the preparation and delivery of franchise agreements, renewals, resales, change of ownership and related franchise documents to franchisees to ensure compliance with applicable law. Track documents and obtain signatures. Assist in data collection for purposes of preparing the annual and other updates to the Franchise Disclosure Document. Communicates and provides other departments with information regarding policies and franchise agreement information. Serves as primary liaison for franchisee inquiries related to various franchise related transactions. Effectively and clearly communicates with franchisees regarding transactions and policy details. Assist in refining processes and documentation necessary to support consistent application of internal franchise documentation policies. Maintains all legal documentation, electronic files and databases, to ensure current and accurate information is available. Handle other responsibilities as assigned.
