Regional Counsel
Duties: Assist sales and other internal customers with the negotiation and management of various types of commercial transactions, including supply and service agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Research and Collaboration Agreements, RFPs, IP licensing, joint development, Demo and Evaluation Agreements, and procurement transactions. Use a business-oriented approach to problem solve, communicate legal issues and give real-world advice while assessing risk and legal ramifications. Prepare supporting legal documents such as briefs, contracts, board resolutions, and other filings as needed. Provide strategic, timely and high-quality legal guidance to managers and corporate leadership. Assist in the supervision and direction of outside counsel as may be necessary. Actively contribute to the legal team in the ongoing development of knowledge, skills and processes and lead legal initiatives and special projects as required. Perform other related duties as assigned.
