Kaplan & Company, founded in 2017 by renowned litigator Roberta Kaplan, is an elite boutique litigation firm in New York City with a dual commitment to cutting edge commercial litigation and serving the public interest. Our firm represents commercial clients such as Airbnb, T-Mobile, and Pfizer. We also represent clients in connection with groundbreaking public interest litigation, including representing ten plaintiffs in a lawsuit against twenty-five white supremacists and neo-Nazis injured by the violence committed at the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The firm also helped found the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.
We are looking for smart and driven applicants with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills and strong research abilities and attention to detail. We seek members of our team who are enthusiastic about our commitment to civil rights and public interest law, who will work effectively in a collaborative environment, and who can be flexible and energetic in the unique environment of a new law firm. Paralegals with prior litigation experience are highly desired for this position.
Some prior law firm experience and the ability to make a two-year commitment are required. Applicants must be based in the New York area or willing to relocate.
