Practice Manager

The candidate will be partnering with Business Analysts to synthesize data for operational impact, process improvement and practice effectiveness to drive cross functional business opportunities. Leveraging data to develop alternative solution strategies with respect to scoping, staffing, and pricing. Establishing and managing matter scope, pricing, and relationship development through the lens of Legal Project Management; analyzing matter and fee data to inform strategic scoping and pricing initiatives. Leading departmental and division practice management projects including facilitation of goals and objectives as well as managing project execution activities. Managing operations and utilization of resources related to assigned Divisions, Practice Groups, and Sub-Practice Groups. Advising Senior Division and Practice leadership on best practices that impact lawyer profitability. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree is preferred. Should have 5+ years of business experience in a law firm or professional services setting, including at least three years management experience. Experience drafting and managing matter scope and budgets is required. Experience drafting or revising strategic/business plans, executing action items and tracking progress is required.
