Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a JD degree, active Arizona State Bar membership, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, employment law, and/or insurance defense. The attorney will manage a litigation caseload, collaborating with senior attorneys, partners, and shareholders while providing exceptional client service. Strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to client success, and excellent legal and analytical abilities are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters, overseeing cases from initiation to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, partners, and shareholders to provide effective legal representation.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, and hearings as necessary.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel, clients, and stakeholders.
• Advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Work on cases related to civil litigation, employment law, and insurance defense.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• An active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, employment law, and/or insurance defense.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation.
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
