Lead Refurbishment Technician

We are rapidly growing and are looking for someone to help us repair and upgrade kiosks. The right candidate for this role is someone who loves to solve problems and has strong troubleshooting skills. You must have good work habits such as being organised, quality driven, and safety conscious. This position is remote so it’s vital to be a self starter, reliable and accountable.

 

What You’ll be Doing

  • Complete refurbishment and upgrading of electromechanical and mechanical systems.

  • Responsible for quality, efficient repair and refurbishment of kiosks and accessories.

  • Maintain inventory of refurbish supplies.

  • Document work records for kiosks and accessories.

  • Interface with Engineering and Operations on a regular basis.

  • Cosmetic quality evaluations of kiosks

 

 Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools and power tools.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electromechanical and mechanical systems with and without documentation.

  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions

  • Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment

  • Demonstrated adherence to safe work habits and practices, including the use of PPE and safety devices

 

Candidate Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Technical certification a plus.

  • 3 years experience in a maintenance/production environment

  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures preferred

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred

  • Familiarity with basic linux commands preferred

  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionallyLight to Moderate local travel required

  • Valid driver's license

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
