Proposals Specialist, US Region
The candidate will draft, coordinate and project manage proposals and related content to help ensure the distinct go-to-market strategy is delivered through one “the firm voice” throughout the US Region. Report into a Senior Proposal Manager and will work closely with business development team members across the US Region to help drive growth, build brand and expand relationships. Draft, manage and deliver on high profile/priority opportunities, multi-regional/practice RFPs and collaborate among the member firms on qualified opportunities. Coordinate with others on the team in, support of practice/sector leads to create or enhance value propositions for pitches or cross-selling initiatives to secure panel placements and expand areas of work. Support the development of a process to create a distinct go-to-market strategy and to ensure a “one firm” approach. Lead the proposal production across the US Region, specifically. Standardize materials used in pursuits across all offices in the US Region. Manage intake and qualification of opportunities. Provide regular reporting on pursuits. Coordinate with team members to promote best practices and build proficiency. Enable opportunities for more advisory/strategic go-to-market conversations. Support multi-region opportunities led by other global proposal teams by providing input on content and experience, e.g. collating credentials and identifying lawyers with matching expertise. Utilize creativity to enhance graphics and content placement in line with the Firm’s brand guidelines. Maintain accurate and detailed proposal records. Prepare high quality supporting materials for in-person client/proposal meetings. Should have 4+ years of proposal experience working in a professional services environment. Prior success in proposal writing is required. Experience in developing visually compelling and persuasive content in a variety of media is required. Must have experience working in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other presentation or proposal software.
