Estate & Trust Administration Legal Assistant / Project Manager / Paralegal
The candidate will create, organize, and maintain files for Estate and Trust Administration matters according to the Firm’s established procedures. Update the status of Estate and Trust Administration matters in the Firm’s case management software. Update tasks and calendars to track various Estate and Trust administration deadlines. Draft, print, and assemble client documents for Attorney review. Provide consistent communication to the clients via mail, email, and telephone. Control of systems for gift and estate tax filings. Print and prepare estate planning documents for signing meetings. Provide support to the legal Team by assisting with editing estate planning documents as directed. Support the Estate Planning Team and other Firm Team members as needed with administrative or tasks. Understand and assemble Estate Gift Tax Returns as part of Estate/Trust Team. Clerical administrative experience is preferred. Should have an undergraduate degree. Prior experience supporting attorneys, paralegals, other professionals is a plus. Experience in Project Management is needed.
