Contracts Specialist
The candidate will be responsible for creating, tracking and retaining all lease contract documents per Rail Services policies and guidelines. Facilitates and coordinates the negotiation of various contract documents between the Rail Services Executive Staff and customers. This also includes assisting Rail Service stake holders with document interpretation and providing contract information when lessee disputes occur. Draft, review and analyze railcar lease documents related to master lease agreements, riders, amendments, credit documents, and settlement agreements. Manage input of lease information and contract terms into CRM (Salesforce) and other data bases. Draft documents for Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs) and assist Portfolio Group with asset sales and acquisitions. Draft correspondence and settlement agreements to assist in the resolution of any lessee disputes. Review and analyze customer change requests (mergers, acquisitions, assignments, assumptions, subleases) to determine contract impact, manage process of, obtain proper approvals, and draft proper documentation.
