Accounting Assistant
The candidate will reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements, working with card holders to ensure charges are properly documented and coded. Post monthly journal entries for corporate credit card. General administrative maintenance of corporate credit card (assigning cards to new employees, managing card expirations, canceling cards for terminated personnel, and troubleshooting issues and problems as needed). Serve as a general back-up for the A/P function. Post invoices on electronic billing websites. Perform E-bill audits. Perform WIP write-offs. Audit and reconcile client statements. Enter cost entries for client-related overtimes. Work with entire Accounting team in managing the team’s group email inbox. Maintain electronic files relevant to core responsibilities. Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as needed. High school diploma degree is required; Some college, particularly accounting courses is preferred. Previous law firm experience is strongly preferred. Proven MS Excel experience is required. Basic knowledge of accounting principles is required.
