Senior Real Estate Paralegal
The candidate will provide legal support and assistance to transactional attorneys with redevelopment projects, new development, property dispositions, acquisitions, financings, and other strategic transactions, including Gathering and reviewing due diligence materials; Title and survey review and analysis; Preparation of closing documents and instructions to title company; Preparing appropriate notices under applicable property-level agreements and Managing deal timelines and closing checklists. Review, prepare and negotiate property easement agreements. Coordinate property subdivisions with Development, surveyors, outside counsel and municipalities. Manage vendors providing third-party reports for large-scale projects. Prepare, mail, track and obtain estoppel certificates from tenants and adjoining land owners. Manage junior paralegals and/or administrative staff in connection with team projects, such as title document review projects, large-scale estoppel preparation and mailings, and tenant notices. Generate lease exhibits and construction exhibits for outside counsel. Work directly with Development and Construction teams on new development, re-development, easement and entitlement matters. Provide timely response to legal requests from internal departments for preparation, review and analysis of legal documents or research of legal issues. Research and analyze REAs, development agreements, operating/partnership agreements, anchor tenant leases, loan agreements, contracts, and other legal documents. Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
