Marketing Technology Manager
The candidate will oversee the firm’s marketing and sales technology stack, digital marketing efforts and staff. (It does not oversee the firm’s CRM or experience database). Help improve data strategy, inbound marketing optimization, email marketing, campaign management, automation, lead scoring, lead lifecycle management, nurture programs, and marketing analytics. Oversee and administer the firm's website (RubyLaw), eMarketing (Vuture), SEO platform, proposal system (Proposal Pilot) and other marketing technology software and processes to enable the firm’s growth strategy. Build testing frameworks (split testing, deliverability and tracking) for continuous optimization of click-through and conversion rates. Ensure adaptive learning from past campaigns to guide future marketing campaigns. Provide development and technical support for the firm’s alumni site (PeoplePath). Troubleshoot technical issues. Manage a team of technologists to ensure excellent service and work product. Work closely with other departments, such as IT, to support and implement new or enhanced products or services, including analytics and dash-board platforms. Serve as a liaison between the business development team, the vendors and service providers, ensuring the smooth integration and maintenance of marketing systems. Deploy and train on marketing technology systems and processes. Develop and update training materials. Remain current on marketing technology trends and practices, as well as on existing and new marketing technologies, recommending best in class solutions and processes to assist in developing a marketing and sales technology strategy. Manage privacy rules and processes in conjunction with the General Counsel’s office. Budget, review, manage, and process all technical third-party contracts, amendments, and invoices. BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Computer Sciences or related field is required. Should have 5+ years of prior marketing technology work experience in a professional services firm; previous law firm experience is preferred. Strong proficiency in Content Management Systems, Vuture, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and data manipulation skills in most common data storage formats (e.g. .XLSX, .CSV, etc.) is required. Demonstrated project management experience and experience managing a website is required. Knowledge of HTML is required.
