Humana's Inside Sales organization is in search for a Credentialing Assistant to support an active and fast-paced team of sales professionals for a virtual call center environment with their licensing and continuing education needs. Responsibilities

The Credentialing Assistant handles licensure for all agents (including BPO agents) and administrative staff within our virtual call center environment. This associate will assist our unlicensed new hires with licensure course enrollment and application process. They will assist in getting our sales agents appointed with the appropriate product and business line as well as licensure in each state they need to be licensed in. The Credentialing Assistant will also assist tenured agents with continuing education and license renewal process. This associate will work closely with sales agents, sales leadership, and finance department with renewals and fees imposed by the respective states.

Desired skillset:

-Demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems

-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint

-Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities

-Time management and organizational skills

-Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Required qualifications:

-2 years of administrative support experience

-Meet Work-At-Home Requirements (details in additional information)

-Active Health insurance license or ability to obtain within 75 days of hire

-Must be willing to work additional time, based upon business need (paid OT)

Preferred qualifications:

-Associate Degree or higher education

-Health/Life licensing requirements/guidelines

-Sales environment experience

Additional Information:

Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
