The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer will be the lead engineer for infrastructure and platforms related to Azure cloud solutions for various business partners. This person will collaborate with cloud architects, solution engineering leads, senior business leaders, and product owners to implement innovative cloud solutions. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer will development big data platforms that enable AI/ML insights with real-time data pipelines and decision engines.
Responsibilities
Work in agile product development framework
Ensure team is following technical guidelines, security needs, and design patterns aligned to the technical architecture and strategy
Advance the adoption of new techniques, tools, and processes to streamline delivery capabilities
Develop cloud solutions based on business requirements and approved architecture
Evaluate and integrate tools and frameworks required to provide desired capabilities
Diagnose system performance issues and advise on necessary changes
Break down components of a solution and lead implementation efforts
Interact with product and business stakeholders beyond engineering
Mentor and coach developers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4 years of technical and development experience
Experience with containerization
Experience with building and maintaining APIs
Experience with ETL, SQL, PySpark
Experience managing cloud applications and network security
Experience with git repositories and release pipelines
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more professional Azure certifications
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks
