Coordinator, Legal Recruiting
The candidate will be assisting with on-campus recruiting and other recruiting processes, including scheduling attorneys for on-campus and candidate callback interviews; greeting and escorting candidates, maintaining and updating candidate files, compiling and distributing materials for hiring committee meetings, and scheduling and attending same. Coordinate the planning of recruiting events, scheduling of on-campus recruiting programs, organizing materials for campus programs, and assisting with hiring season statistics. Assist with administration of the Summer Associate Program, including communication with recruits prior to arrival; assist with housing as needed; plan events/functions and follow-up on SA evaluations. Coordinate and facilitate summer program including events, summer calendar, invitations, rotation schedules, attorney handbook, summer associate binders, summer gifts, etc. Assisting in the creation/management of promotional manuals, brochures, invitations, website, video content, and related marketing initiatives including social media, video content, photography, etc. in order to improve candidate experience and build awareness for employment opportunities. Assisting with NALP form, Chambers and related surveys & publications, and Firm online profiles (Chambers Associate/firsthand, etc.). Develop and maintain excellent customer service relationships with candidates, vendors, and Weil attorneys, managers, and support staff. Assist with lateral interviews as needed, including in-house interview schedules and recruit input and updates. Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years in legal or campus recruitment for a Big Law or Professional Services Firm; strong ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and within budget; Self-starter; ability to remain self-directed and self-motivated with minimal supervision; excellent time management and prioritization skills; excellent PC skills, ideally have experience with legal recruiting databases. Makes appropriate and timely decisions within area of responsibility. Speaks and writes clearly and accurately; actively listens and responds to the needs of others. Without direction, anticipates needs and seeks alternatives to situations. Needs to be flexible to work overtime as needed.
