Job Overview:

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 18 months to 5 years of experience in complex litigation. The ideal candidate will excel in electronic discovery and drafting significant legal motions, possess excellent academic credentials, and have strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. The candidate must be a member of the Georgia Bar or admitted to and in good standing with another State's Bar (and willing to complete the Georgia Bar’s admission process).

Duties:

• Manage and supervise electronic discovery processes, including identifying, collecting, and reviewing electronic evidence.
• Draft and review substantial dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.
• Represent clients in business litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and case plans.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation and case files by firm protocols.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on complex business litigation issues.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting business litigation.

Requirements:

• 18 months to 5 years of experience in business or complex litigation.
• Proficient in conducting and supervising electronic discovery.
• Experience in drafting dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.
• Excellent academic credentials with a strong track record of performance.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Member of the Georgia Bar or admitted to and in good standing with another State's Bar (and willing to go through the Georgia Bar’s admission process).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the State of Georgia or another State with willingness to obtain Georgia Bar admission.
